Care that is never ordinary.
Our homes are purpose built so residents feel comfortable, safe and happy each day — spacious, easy to find your way around, with ensuites, kitchens and lounges close to bedrooms and gardens you can walk straight out into.

A home for when living independently no longer works.
Residential aged care is for people who can no longer live independently at home. Moving in is a big adjustment — for you and for the people who love you — so our team is there to answer questions and make the transition as gentle as it can be.
Every resident has their own care, activity and dietary plan, with on-site nursing around the clock and access to specialised health professionals: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, dementia consultants and podiatrists. Essential furniture is provided, and you're encouraged to bring the things that make a room yours — a quilt, photos, the treasures.

Residents first, in every decision.
Care, dining and lifestyle follow individual preference — not a roster.
Individualised care and choice
24/7 personal care, clinical services and wellness support from a team that knows you. Metropolitan homes have a registered nurse on site 24 hours a day; regional homes have registered and enrolled nurses available around the clock.
Health and wellness
Regular clinical assessments by qualified nurses, plus on-site physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics and psychology. Specialist-trained staff support residents living with dementia.
Community and lifestyle
Something on every day — tailored exercise, live concerts, craft groups, armchair travel, bingo, art and pet therapy. Companionship is the point of all of it.
Pastoral care
Our pastoral carers are trained to listen perceptively and share life sensitively. Someone makes contact soon after you move in, and visits one-to-one as often as you'd like — with your family too.
Residents have a say in every menu.
Our chefs prepare home-cooked meals on site, with real choice on offer. Menus change for summer and winter, are reviewed by a dietician against the Australian Dietary Guidelines, and are shaped by resident food focus groups.

Complex on paper. Simple once someone explains it.
A Centrelink assessment of your income and assets decides what you contribute towards accommodation and services. After the means test you receive a Fee Advice letter setting out exactly which of these apply to you.
Everyone pays this. It covers day-to-day living — meals, power and laundry.
Some people contribute towards the cost of their care, set by the Centrelink income and assets assessment.
Depending on your means assessment, you may contribute towards — or fully cover — the cost of your room.
Only where a home offers services beyond the minimum care and service requirements, packaged and priced separately.
Room options and prices vary by home, room size and inclusions. Each home publishes a key feature statement with its room options and costs. We recommend independent financial advice before signing an accommodation agreement.
Three ways to cover accommodation.
You don't have to pay a deposit upfront, and the choice of how you pay is yours. Whichever you pick, the room price is agreed with you in writing first.

A refundable lump sum
A refundable accommodation amount, paid once and repaid later. There are two kinds, depending on your means assessment: a refundable accommodation contribution (RAC) where the government helps with the cost, or a refundable accommodation deposit (RAD) where you pay the full amount yourself.
Rental-style daily payments
A daily accommodation charge instead of a lump sum — a daily accommodation contribution (DAC) where the government helps, or a daily accommodation payment (DAP) where you pay in full. A DAP is worked out by applying the maximum permissible interest rate to your agreed room price and dividing by 365.
A combination of both
Split the two however suits you. On a $500,000 agreed room price you might pay $100,000 as a part lump sum and a reduced daily payment on the remainder: (agreed room price − lump sum paid) × the maximum permissible interest rate, divided by 365.
Eligibility and how to apply.
Your finances don't affect whether you're eligible for a government-subsidised home — only what you pay. Eligibility is based on need, assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team.
- Apply for an ACAT assessment through My Aged Care. To be eligible, you must be unable to live independently at home.
- A team of medical, nursing and allied health professionals visits you at home to understand the level of care you need.
- You receive your ACAT form or reference number — that is what confirms eligibility.
- With confirmation in hand, start contacting providers to find a home that suits your lifestyle and needs.
Prepare for your assessment
Write down what a difficult day looks like, list your medications and current supports, and have someone who knows you sit in. Assessors can only fund what they hear about.
- Call the home you're interested in to arrange a tour. Allow at least an hour.
- The manager walks you through care, social life and what moving in involves.
- Our admissions team follows up to answer any questions about costs.
- Share up-to-date medical history from your specialists, and keep your existing practitioners — continuity matters.
Book a tour
Bring a family member, and come at a mealtime if you can — the food and the feel of a dining room tell you more than a brochure.
